The week I celebrated the lives of British singer Dave Dee and Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton, both of whom passed away in the early days of 2009. I also marked the 41st anniversary of Johnny Cash's legendary performance at Folsom Prison, had some musical fun with the Last Shadow Puppets and their influences, and played a nice, long set of Afrobeat.
